Our Story

Years Serving Leander
Trees have never gotten old. They still fascinate me, and I’ll never get tired of climbing a tall one and seeing the Hill Country like it was the first time.

your trees. just better.

Dad said, “Be the best.”

I couldn’t explain how I got into this business without first telling you about my Dad.

He painted signs. By hand.

Now, at first glance, that doesn’t seem exciting, but in fact, there are very few people who can paint signs and far fewer who can do it as good as Dad.

He specialized in big. From football stadiums and airports to billboards and everything in between. When we drove around, I took notice of all the signs and wondered which ones were his.

One day, I watched while he made a deal for an $80,000 sign job with a local Ford Dealership over beers and oysters. Everybody shook hands in agreement, and the details were worked out on a napkin.

If you watched this happen from the next table, it would have looked like a couple of friends sharing some drinks. I’ll never forget that day.

He made it look easy. He was that good. He was Dad.

Although we started out in Houston, the family moved into the country while I was still young. And it took a lot of getting used to. We all got along fine, but Dad and I had our fair share of disagreements. But one thing always puts a smile on my face.

Trees.

They did something for me, and to this day, I’ll never understand, but one thing’s for sure. I fell in love.

I climbed them. I cared for them. I slowly learned everything there was to know about trees, and I’ve never looked back.

I didn’t have what it took to draw signs, and I wasn’t cut out for office work. 25 years ago, with almost no savings and a beat-up truck, I went into business.

At first, it was slow going, but over the years things started to grow. The trucks got better, the equipment got better, and my crew stayed loyal.

Trees have never gotten old. They still fascinate me, and I’ll never get tired of climbing a tall one and seeing the Hill Country like it was the first time.

Y’all have a choice in a great country to call any tree service you want, but the truth is you won’t find a better one. We’ll shoot you straight, show up on time, and get right to work.

We could go on and on about how great we are, but instead of doing that, let’s try something different.

Let’s have the results tell the rest of this story.
